Shawn Berry was a member of a pioneering sustainable furniture manufacturing cooperative named the Woodshanti Cooperative in San Francisco which specialized in building high-quality custom cabinetry, millwork and furniture using responsibly harvested lumber and natural finishes. He now works as a professional consultant for developing worker cooperatives.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the presentation will air live on Wed (1/11/23) at 4:00 PM EST and then the recoded session will be shared on the regular Monthly Seminar day (2nd Thursday of the month) and time - Thurs (1/12/23) at 8:00 PM EST. The 1/12/23 recorded presentation will be introduced by Economist Mark Friedman with a few comments about the social benefits of worker cooperatives.
